Christmas in the city

Like any city in the world, the holiday season means lights! Tokyo, whether it's Christmas or not, is a bright city but during the month of December you can find Christmas decorations all over the place. It's great! However, on December 26th you won't see one reminder of Christmas! All packed up and ready for New Year's which is more important to Japanese people.

Toronto in Ikebukuro!!

Noticed there's a bar called, "Toronto" near my house.

Went to check it out and it turned out to be a hostess bar!!

Also turns out the "Toronto" is the reading for the below Chinese characters:

Fall is finally here....in December!!!

The leaves are changing and it's one of the nicest times of the year.
Yesterday was quite a warm day compared to the crappy weather we've been having.

Braddy Hell

Japanese English is one of the more amusing things in a Tokyo.
There's even a webpage dedicated to it called "Engrish.com"
One of the common errors for Japanese is mistaking "L" for "R" and visa versa.
An example would be, "Do you want some lice?" --->"Do you want some rice?"
Another common error is adding vowels to the end of words when they don't end in them and taking away them when they do.
"Toronto" becomes "Toront" and "Matt" becomes "Matto"

Can you spot the problems below?

Puppet-Muppet

One of the most famous comedians in Japan where's a mask over his face and uses a puppet of a cow and frog.
His name is called "Puppet Muppet"

Don't ask why! Don't ask how! Actually, he's quite funny!

The puppet of the panda is one from a famous commercial featuring Nanako Matsushima

Small but useful

You see a lot of bikes like this in Tokyo. You may think, "that thing is tiny! It must be useless!"
Don't let the size fool you! Traffic jams and parking are no problem for this thing. Much more useful than it seems!
